I usually spend new years with some friends and family and we ring in the new year together. Sometimes we go to a party and sometimes someone hosts one at their house. This year I think we're going to be a bit more low key and have a small gathering at my house. As long as I'm with my family and friends I'll have a good time.

Normally there is firework display in the celebration for welcoming the New Year at the recreation park in my town during new year eve. This grand occasion usually attracts thousand of people to watch the wonderful scene.
There are many attractive tv programs related to the receiving of the new year.
Last year I did watch the wonderful firework with my family. My husband had recorded it in his video camera. It wouldn’t deny that we could only experience the excitement and the thrill of countdown to the new year amid hubbub of the huge crowd.
I feel that it is rather time consuming to attend the countdown ceremony. So I decide to stay at home to watch the live countdown ceremony on tv this coming new year eve.

Hello again, dear fanji. On new year's eve, my whole family usually get together at my mom's house to have a get-together for a nice dinner and we have a lot of rich food to eat cooked by my mother, but my sister and wife help my mom for the dinner. After dinner, we all go back to our own house to watch TV till the end of the wonderful program. It is always the same every year.
