toy recalls

I cannot believe all the recent recalls. It is getting crazy and very scary. The Aqua Dots recall has to be the scariest one yet.
So with that said, what are you all getting your kids for Christmas this year?
We have decided to only buy American made toys and electronics. My kids will be getting a Wii and my boys will get a Nintendo DS so they don't have to fight with my daughter about using hers anymore.
So what are you all buying??

I am not sure what to buy. It is so out of hand. It makes you wonder also, how many toys in our houses already have lead in them. Did they just start doing this or have they always been doing it. I have boughten my kids electronics so far, not sure about toys.

It is getting to the point where kids can't have any toys any more. My kids are asking for a Wii, and though we are on a tight budget this year we are trying to get them one.
As for the recalls we have been lucky and only had 2 of my little girls Polly Pocket sets recalled so far. My kids were really wanting Aqua Dots this year, but not now.

I know what you mean. I was telling my mom that I dont even know what we should get my cousins for Christmas, it seems like nothing the kids play with is safe and seems like everything is being recalled. So far we are just sticking to Bratz, Barbies, and Power RAngers. We dont know what eles to get them.
