Hello toteles, I prefer to call rather than to leave a message. If it is less necessary conversation, I will text. I think I still prefer to listen to someone's voice rather than just to leave a message!

I am more of a texter, especially if my inquiries would just require a short response, like if I'm asking a yes or no question. I text when I need a phone number so I wouldn't have to write it down since it's already been texted to me. I only call when I know I urgently have to talk to this person, or if I know that the conversation would be clearer if it were done over talking on the phone as opposed to texting. But I'd rather that the other party calls me so I won't have to spend so much on the call. Lol.

It depends on which country you are in. -- well im pointing out at the cost. In philippines, i prefer to send sms than to call because it is cheaper but in UAE, i prefer to call since the cost is almost the same as sending sms. But if i just want to be extra sweet to somebody,i will just send sms.

Oh I am definitely a caller, I don't like texting unless it is just a short message that doesn't really need an answer I hate giving the telephone company any more money that what they are getting already, I much prefer to be able to really talk to someone.

Most of the time I will send text to my friend first as the rate of sms is far much cheaper than that of making a call. Of course this is the best way to due with the type of person who is very busy all the time. I like to chat with my son during late evening as it is more intimate to talk rather than sending sms.

I never feel comfortable on the phone. I rarely use them , so if I can't e-mail a person, I will text.It is so much more comfortable.

I would prefer to call rather than text if something is urgent or important. Sending text can be too slow at times and sometimes what we wrote can be misinterpreted by people who received them. Calling as faster and make thing clearer. However, if it is for general stuffs such as saying hello to someone, i would then just use the text.

I nearly always text as on PAYG on my phone, talking is quite expensive and text is quite cheap. :-)

Usually I love to call among my colleagues because all of us are using the virtual net, which means that we have the right to enjoy the free call between each other as we have already paid for the calling fee per month for the same service. But to friends, who don't have this service, I would like to text messages to them though sometimes I would make a call if I have something urgent.

I call whenever I want to contact someone. I just never got into the texting thing and calling is much more immediate. You don't have to wait for them to get the message and then message you back. You get your answer right away without the wait. I guess I just like phoning better.

It all depends on who Im trying to get ahold of. If Its my mom I usually call. If its my husbai text him. That way I dont bother him at work and he can get back to me when he has time.

I'm one of three people on the planet without a cellphone... I email! And for my Mom, who's one of three people on the planet who doesn't have a computer, I call... on a LAND LINE!! One that is actually wired into the house! SO old-fashioned!LOL!

If its an emergency i call them if i really need to do so. But if theres no need to why spend money on call and all yu hear is umm..aahh..yeah..uhuh.. so text is better i guess and the best way you can do with it be specific at all times.
