Update...The day after a very bad thing happened.

So my daughter made it through the night okay even though I worked midnights. She called me at work around 10:45 am today saying she wanted to come to work with me. She did not mention Blackie or what happened until we arrived home after I got off work at 3pm. Then she didn't say his name, she only said the big black cat. Well, I sat her on my lap and told her again that Blackie was in kitty heaven. I explained to her that when she prayed she can pray for Blackie to be happy in kitty heaven. She was happy with that and stopped talking about him. She did say she wanted to get a new kitty. I told her that we would go this week to look at some. We do have another kitten, but she said she did not like that kitten. So we will go to PAWS some time this week and look at what cats they have. Maybe to a pet store also. I should really get a newspaper to see what free kittens are available nearby. Thanks to all of the people who posted comments. I really appreciate them and all of the support and suggestions.
