It might be what I feeding them, or maybe something else, but my cats have been SO gassy lately. WE are alos, unfortunatly, fighting with diahhrea. Anyway... One of the kitties was in the kitchen 'cleaning' herself. My friend and I were in the bedroom and I was walking out just in time to witness my baby let the loudest, most raunchy sounding fart... IN HER OWN FACE!!! My friend heard it and thought someone was in the kitty box with runny butt again. But no, she was just cleaning up and did that! It was just so funny, but so gross!! Do you have any stories that are so funny like this??

Roxy has bad, stinky gas, but silent but deadly ones.

The silent ones are common for pets, it's the loud raunchy ones that are so funny!

Some time ago, my Tabitha sat on my pillow, practically on top of my head, then broke wind. Wow, what a stench! I got right out of bed and got some air freshener. That fart was EVIL!

Such manners. Farting on your head?!?!? And on your pillow. I hope there wasn't a lasting smell.

hahahaha! Really?! That would be really funny. well, I never thought that kitties could pass air. i mean I have never noticed it with my cat. I wonder if dogs do the same. Well, you are a really cat lover. Though I could say that i love dog even better, but still... I have two cats here at home that went well with my dogs.

HA! SO gross yes, but i do see the humor, but i'm a cat lover, and maybe some people just wouldn't get it! cats are so crazy at times! our cat when we were little, he would eat those "ice-cicles" off the xmas tree, you know those silver strand things? well then he would poopie, and he'd have one of the silver strands hanging from his butt, like it didn't all come out...ALWAYS every xmas, til my mom learned to not put that stuff on the tree anymore, hahaha! but he'd run around the house, not knowing, like a human might with toliet paper stuck to their shoes, hahaha! cats are so weird!

You just reminded me of a cat we had who had eaten a lot of thread. A LOT of it. So when he went potty, there was a wad of it hanging out, but the rest of it trailed all up in his intestines. He was long hair so it was hard to notice, and it was bothering him. I thought it was just a piece of poopie that was stuck in his hair, so I got a paper towl and grabbed it. He took off running and this long string of the thread came out as I held one end, and he ran. I was worried that it could have done some damage ripping it out like that, but it all happened too fast, and I was shocked to see what I was pulling out!

ROFL. Justice has been done! That's what she gets for smelling you out of your home! lol. We had a cat who used to like letting our birds lose. Not to chase them, but because she liked seeing them having fun chewing my furniture apart. One day, she got over curious to something in the cage after the birds were set free. She couldn't resist and got herself stuck inside! My partner and I were at Tafe at the time, and our poor cat was stuck there for a couple of hours. needless to say, she never touched the cage again!

Great story!! It's funny that the kitty just like to set birdie free to watch her fly around. Maybe she didn't like seeing her friend caged up. But getting stuch herself is classic. I can imagine coming home and the bird is out, but the cat's in the cage. Great story!! Thanks!

i'd tell you the story about her getting into the fish tank too, but that has some choice words in it that are best not repeated! lol.

The funniest thing about cats after they do something like that is they look around all innocent like and appear to say I did nothing, that wasn't me. Just like people blaming the dog for their own fart, cats seem to look to us to try to blame us. My cat Nimbin is like that.

Sherlock, the little dog I have now passes gas silently, but when he smells it he turns to his rear and sniffs it as if he is offended. If it is a really bad odor, he'll bark at his rear! He'll just bark and bark. It's cute, but really stinky.

That's so funny!! One of my cats did it one and it was a loud one, she startled herself and was twisting around to see what was behind her making that noise!

That is gross but funny! My cat, Squirt, sometimes leaves some pretty lethal farts but one time it was just so comical. He was on the kitchen tabl - yes, I know he doesn't belong on the table, but try telling HIM that - and he left one; he then shook his head and squinted his eyes and turned and jumped off the table like he couldn't get away from his own smell fast enough. He looked at us like we did it! Annie
