My Oldest Grandson Complimented Me Today (Sat)

As one of my other new discussions states I turned on my outdoor Holiday lights this evening. (Sat) Well I had the grandsons flip the switches actually. Then the grandsons and I went outside to enjoy the lights for a minute. Then Tyler my oldest grandson says to me, "Grandpa, you are the person that decorates the most that I know." What a sweet and warm compliment from him. I smiled & hugged him telling him thanks and I loved him. Just wanted to share this sweet thing my grandson did for me.

Hi there GrandPa Bob... Christmas is really fast approaching. When its christmas time, we often think of the kids coz it's really the kids that are really enjoying at christmastime. It's nice of you to do the christmas decorating this early. And you have great and sweet grandkids who are really heartwarming to you. What's the age of your grandkids grandPa? I know you are the great loving grandPa Bob to them.

They are 5 and 8. I think I enjoy the holidays more than the grandkids do. Hahahaha. Maybe I just enjoy their looks as they get excited about it fastly approaching. Hee hee. Thanks also.

This is wonderful that your grandson had the thoughtfulness to compliment you on your Christmas lights. He has good social skills, & manners & more importantly, appreciates his grandfather.

It is terrific that you have so much joy in the decorating for Christmas, and that you have a young admirer. It will be a memory you will treasure, and something for him to aspire to, to be like you. Wishing you happy Thanksgiving, first of all.

Oh he is really like me already. he loves gardening so much
that some people think he's wierd. I think it's great actually
that he loves to plant and grow things.

He also looked at my lawn where the damage was done and got repaired. He said, "Grandpa it looks like mimnature golf but theres no hole."

It is soothing to hear compliments from a grand son-it tells alot about his upbringing-at the end of the day, ll the credit cpmes to you because you brought up his parent in a cultured manner and he/she is doing just the same to the little boy, how pleasing to have kids like that in the family!

Tyler is eight and he loved being the opne to turn them on as well. His eyes lit up and were huge like he was the King or something. Hee hee.
