I would not recommend watching movies as some movies have too much vularities in them....which I find are too much for someone who wants to learn English.
I would, however, recommend listening to English radio stations such as BBC news...That would help you better..

I would highly recamend "the man from earth". the entire movie takes place in a mans living room. No action really to speak of, all dialog. It is about a man who is actualy a surviving cromagnan man who geneticly somehow is able to continualy regenerate his cells so he just doesnt die. He reveals this to his college professor co workers in this movie and describes his life to them. He aparently doesnt stay in one place for more than 10 years so people don't notice that he doesn't age. I thought it was going to be boring but it turned out to be an awsome movie. Realy makes ou think about a lot of things. And theres not a lot of actions to detract from whats being said.

I would only recommend Movies to help you polish what you have learnt. But if you want to learn Grammar, there are some good books you can buy. Depends on where you are. You can also buy a good dictionary and thesaurus-they will come in handy.
Goodluck.

I hope not only watching movies reading a nice book or novel can help you practice your english. Or when your watching set the subtitles in english so you can then see and follow.Goodluck!

you can domwload any english langue movies to practise your english. but i think the best ones are the movies have chinese and movies. when you see the films, you will see and listen to the actor's lines. if you can not follow the actors, you can look at the lines.
