I have a friend who has fibromyalgia, she uses PhytoProRelief, its a botanical balancing cream, I know it seems like an odd fix but she says that combines with essential vitamins (make sure they dissolve in water in under 30 mins)and she has minimal pain and lots of energy.

I was diagnosed with fibro a few years back and there are 16 pressure points that they test for it. I had 14 of 16 so I had it in most of my body. I would wake up in the morning and drink a FEW pots of coffee send my boys off to school then go back to sleep until they got off the bus after 3. We would do homework, have dinner, bath then bed. That went on for awhile. I also ached all over my body from head to toe. I started taking Tahitian Noni Juice just a few ounces a day and have been feeling absolutely wonderful since. It is an amazing product that works for many health problems. I recommend it highly. Here is the number of my distributor www.tni.com/101114 or 1-800-262-6028 Good luck.

I know several people with Fibromyalgia. They all take Neurontin for it. It's kinda a pain killer that works on the nerve endings only. Not any other kind of pain. There is also "joint juice" or tablets..glucosome (spelling?) it is herbal and works well too I am told.

Although increased sensitivity to pain is the main symptom of fibromyalgia, fibromyalgia syndrome and other types of chronic pain diseases form a family of overlapping syndromes. Therefore, even though the most common symptoms are pain and fatigue in muscles and tendons, often it is seen that those suffering from fibromyalgia will have other associated conditions and symptoms. It is because of these overlapping symptoms that fibromyalgia cam to be categorized as a syndrome rather than a disease.
This list of major symptoms of fibromyalgia is for your reference only and it is not intended to diagnose fibromyalgia, which should be left to a doctor familiar with the disorder. It is important that you seek an informed professional before jumping to conclusions regarding your condition. Not all these fibromyalgia symptoms will apply to all patients.
Common signs and symptoms of fibromyalgia include:
Widespread Pain Morning Stiffness Fatigue Vision Problems
Nausea Sleep Disorders Urinary and Pelvic Problems Weight Gain
Dizziness Chronic Headaches Cold Symptoms
Temperomandibular Joint
Dysfunction Syndrome Multiple Chemical
Sensitivity Syndromes "Fibrofog": Cognitive
or Memory Impairment
Skin Complaints Chest Symptoms Anxiety
Depression Dysmenorrhea Aggravating Factors
Myofascial Pain
Syndrome Muscle Twitches
and Weakness Memory Loss:

I was diagnosed only a year ago and have been seeing many Doctors who don't seem to know what works for each individual person. I have tried medications and they don't seem to help. I thank you for getting this information from others. I posted this same question and got only a few responses with very little information about it. I have tried Neurontin and it doesn't work for me. I am now on Lyrica and have just had an extensive MRI for my back, neck and brain. I see a Neuroligist and she has me on Lexapro for depression as well. I feel all of the symptoms as others have posted. I will let you know if I get any new information. Thank you again

I have fibromyalgia. I am having a hard time dealing with it. My doctor doesn't want to prescribe pain meds for me and I can't handle this anymore. The fibro fog is awful too. I am so clumsy and forgetful. I have joined a couple fibro groups on myspace. It is nice to vent once in a while and talk to others who know what I am going through.

I have Fibromyalgia myself so I know the pain. The best treatments are medication rest, ice, and heat. If anti-inflammatories help the pain and the doctor says it is ok then take them!

I have it and it makes me miserable most days. Today it is cold and feels a little damp outside so you can only imagine how I feel. I left work 45 minutes early because my arms and legs were aching so bad that I wasn't accomplishing anything anyway.
For relief, talk to your doctor about medicines that might help the fatigue and pain. Get plenty of rest. I really do rely on my heating pad and water exercise.

I've never even heard of that and I'm a person to look up all forms of diseases. When you find out what it is and the symptoms, please let me know.
