They both live. That is the whole basis of the show and to stay keeping with the good over evil element they both have to live. I don't think Sam will actually go bad either. It will seem like he's bad, because of some plan that will inevitably save them both and get rid of the demons for good.

I don't think either of them will die (permanently), it's the great chemistry between them that drives the show. But I do think they could literally go through hell and back before they have any stability in their lives again.

HOPEFULLY NONE!!! These guys are so hot, I don't want them to ever end this series! hehe LOL! Kidding aside, based on reading on the Supernatural websites and the recent interviews with the creators, they have stories that would last them for this season, and they haven't even used up all the available urban legends and sorts that they have access to!!! Killing Sam in the 2nd season just gave way on him to go bad.... sooner or later. And with Sam's obsession on saving Dean's life and soul from his deal, well I guess, I think he will come through!!! Cheers!

The show is called SUPERNATURAL. That means anything can happen. Maybe they both live. Just not in this plain of exsistance. Who knows. But it is a great show.
