How do toddlers know who their parents are? I don't remember how I knew who my parents are but I did ask them if they are my real parents and they said they are.

When a baby is in the mothers womb they know their mothers voice and smell. They also will know their fathers voice if the father is around and anyone else that is always around the mother.

It is actually said that babies generally know the voices of the ones who they are around before they were born. Generally they get along with these people well coz' they were listening to them and they respond to those voices more easily and are close to those people itself. Later during process of growth they are said and made understood who their parents are. None really would remember the time and situation when they knew their parents. I feel so.
