My older son, Pranavswaroop is 7 years and 2.5 months.
My younger son, Omkar is 11.5 months.
I don't have favourites...but I do believe that the older one is more like me (character-wise) and the younger one takes after my husband. So, it's easier for me to bond with the older one and my husband finds it easier to bond with the second. I don't spoil them but my husband does and it bugs me no end.

Isn't that something..what characteristic is it that makes your older son like you? That is very interesting that you should point that out;)

Well, for one, his thought process is exactly like mine. I know when he gets upset and how I have to handle it (all I have to do is figure out how 'I' would like to be treated when I am upset). The way he learns is also similar to mine. He likes to correct his own mistakes and just needs guidance. He treats people exactly the way I do. And lots of other stuff. At first, I thought it was because I was his role model and he spent most of the time with me..so he just followed what I did. But when I had my second, I realized right from the beginning that he was different and even if I did things the same way with the younger one as with the older, he was so different and it had nothing to do with who he spent most of the day with.

My only child is 8 years old (in less than a month he'll be 9). His first and middle name are the same as mine, but we call him by his middle name. Both my wife and me spoil him, but I have a tendence to tell my wife that it's she who spoils him. :)

Usually children have features of both parents..I am so glad that your son has both your wife's and your features.

Hi, I have four kids. 2 boys, two girls. There ages are 8, 3, 2, and the youngest is 13 months. There are no favourites, they are all loved and treated the same. As for being spoilt? Mmmmmm. Arent they all??? lol. When ever we have any extra money to spare at the end of the week, then it goes on them, usually we try to get them educational or developemental toys, like stacking cups or shape sorters and such. But with the eldest he is mad into yu-gi-oh cards!! :-)

Yu=gi=oh cards? What are they.. Sounds like you have a nice sized family. God has blessed you and seems like you are bringing up your children as loving parents do:)

I agree with you..the things that kids are playing and doing is much much more complicated then when I was a kid too..
We liked to romp and pretend..play house and play ball..Our kids today..no way:)

Yu-gi-oh cards are the latest trading card game with kids these days, well in my country anyway lol. They have names on them that I cant even pronounce!! Its based on points and stars. I dont really understand it. Gone are the days of simple games I think!!!
Thank you for your kind remarks. :-)

I have two children, one three years old daughter and one and a half years old son. For me both are my favorite,I don;t have special one.I try to do the same, fair and equal to both of them. I don't think I spoil them too much. Just try to give a lot of love

indeed, love is what we all need in this world of ours..and that you give it to your children means when they grow up they will continue the love you gave and the world will become more loving;)

Why is it that in China they have only one child. How would the government know if you had more..would someone inform them?

I have only one child. He is 3 years old and his name is Chen Yong Xi. I love him more than myself, but I won't spoil him because it will be the bad effect for him in the future. I hope he will learn to be reasonable, responsible and independent.
