Does getting a best response adds to Reputation?

Im sure that attain a bountiful amount of best response can never hurt you.. yet, I dont know how much it can help. I imagine that at the very least, it can show a bit of consistency with good responses. One thing I do know, is that I certainly do feel good.. to see.. that I have received a BestResponce. I think it shows that what you typed made a great impression and counted for something more than a cookie cutter responce.

Well one of my posts was selected as the best response, but i didn't notice any changes or increase in my earnings as a result of that .

Whether or not your response is selected as the best response for a discussion has no bearing on your MyLot reputation. Your MyLot reputation is determined by the ratings people give you for your discussions, responses, and comments. People rate you by selecting either the + or - sign found next to your discussions, responses, and comments.

I think the more you do in mylot makes things better for you in mylot. I respond to articles more then I start them So far though. I have done ok.

I dont know whether best response is one criteria for reputation but certainly the positive points we get for our discussion, responses and comments do play an important role in getting the mylot reputation points increase..may be there are other things do cater to reputation increase like particpation etc.,which am not aware.

i think it can add to extra income. still i am not sure. but it also can add to reputation.

Hello subha. I am not so sure about the best responses, but I think that the ratings are very important to our mylot reputations. Anyway I think that the best response is still helpful to our reputation.
