Where is your hometown?

My home town is a small town called Mason City, Illinois, I spent the frist 18 years of my life there and graduated from a small high school there... I left there in 1962, and have gone back several times since then...Yes I miss it but wouldn't want to live there again......It's too cold there in the winter months and too hot in the summer time... I was very dissapointed when I did go back there to visit because it had gotten bigger and it didn't seem like home after my parnets passed away. But the one thing I miss is the childhood friends I had when I was growing up....Thankfully I can talk to her on the telephone anytime I want.....Thank god for unlimited telephone calls....Last time I talked to her we talked for three hours....

Even if I was born in Los Angeles California... I still consider Bakersfield my hometown.. it was the location that I spent my teen years in.. so im rather partial to it... I do miss it... even if it is a rather crapalicious town...

Good old DuQuoin, Illinois. Home of the World Trotting Derby. Population 6,600. ANd I still live here. I just can't seem to get away no matter how hard I try!
