Why do some people seem to get better with age?

I am 48 years old. As I get older I look it. I color my hair because I have found grey hairs. My skin is not like it used to be.
But it seems like some people only get better with age. I have always thought Robin Gibb from the Bee Gees was good looking. But he seems to be getting sexy as he gets older! Why can't I do that?

I think it's how they take care of their body and appearance, since they are celebrities and good-looks is their "crowning glory."
I think if you take more healthy diet, foods and take vitamins or supplements that can help you age slowly (like Vitamin E) then you will definitely look the same as him!;)
But the most important thing is, by the way you handle your looks and how you look at your own self. Besides, beauty lies within the eyes of the beholder..
