next time you get one of thos you won the lotto or we have a job for you just reseive and cash moneyorders and send us the money
Found this in world stat today and thought I would pass it on.
the next time you see a spam e-mail in your Inbox that you think is deceptive, do us all a favor and forward it to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at this address: spam@uce.gov. You can do that just by hitting the Forward button in your e-mail and typing that address on the To: line. The FTC then uses the e-mails they get at that address to pursue law enforcement actions against the people who send them. They have even put together a new law against spammers, called the CAN-SPAM law, which is designed to hold spammers responsible for their actions. It's nice to know there is something we all can do to help combat the dreadful problem of spam. Do your part today and let's all start to make a difference!

Thank you for the information. I was wondering whether it also works in Canada? I get a lot of spam email in my Yahoo mailbox and somehow I cannot get rid of them, not like I do with gmail and even my lycos mail I have difficulty because it really has to think when I press the "this is spam" button. It is if they want you to keep it.

Thank you for this heads-up. I was always wondering how we could do something about this. I have written down the address, so I can mail this to my friends and family. I have also put it in my address books in my email accounts. Thanks again for the information.

Hi again...
Thanks for doing YOUR part and helping all of us do OUR part to hold all the inconsiderate self, serving spammers out there be held accountable. I agree with you that it is great that there are now laws being put in place to alert authorities who is out there. If we all do our part then the day may come when we can feel a greater level of trust...and certainly a lot less aggravation within our internet exchanges.
You did a good thing with this one Lakota...I was unaware of their existence and have make a note of the address. Good stuff!!
Cheers and hugs,
Raia

I doubt if we can use it up here because of it being from the American government. Maybe if it works out well the Canadians will implement it too. However, it is still good to have as a reference in case fellow American Myloters need it.
Good work!
Biggie hugs to you too!
