hi kings1148 you are right.our selectors had made a good decision.instead of putting pressure on dhoni as a captain for both test and one dayinternational.and any how inorder to lead team india in testmatches captain should be enougf experienced which dhoni still have to get.and kumble is having that.

I agree with you. It will keep Dhoni away from extra burden which help him focus on the T20 and one-day cricket formats. Having specialist captains in the specialized forms of game will help the team registering more success. Also, test form of cricket need more experience which Kumble has (specially keeping in mind that the other players like Sachin denied the offer and Ganguly not being offered).

yes i also think that Kumble is the right choice because he is one of the seniormost lad in the team and Dhoni is too young to lead team India in the longer version of the game, he has to become more mature player to carry out this heavy task and it will surely be a relief for msd for selecting Kumble as a test captain. Moreover Kumble has a vision and he plans everything perfectly and also dont forget that he has done engineering and he has been using some of his engineering thoughts into his bowling until now and its the time for him to use the same tactics in captaincy and excel. And also his determination is very high and see his face while he comes to bat. NO matter he is batting at number 8 or 9 his face will be determined like a tiger and most of all I think India needs such a captain to gain some killer instincts which Indians lack completely. I have a great hope that he will lead team India in the right direction ...

yes of course this is a right decision of making anil kumble the captain of the indian test team... Becuz first of all he is a bowler he can understand what a bowler needs..
