when does the earning update take place

At about 6.00pm to 7.00pm IST.

It generally happens at the same time every day and the time for you would depend on what country you live in. However with the release of the new version of myLot it was a little bit later yesterday, so we shall see what happens today. Not a problem really because it does get updated every day. :)

o well the earning update takes place every 24 hrs at abt 9-10 PT
