Should I get another Dog

Im still thinking should i get another dog because i just put my dog to sleep Febuary 2006 because she had cancer in her kidneys. Should i get another one because dogs are the only animals i like because they are playful. I realy dont know what i shoudl do because i dont want to go through with losing another dog in the future...I had and English Springer Spaniel, Female, Hunting Dog, She Was 8

Is the love & enjoyment of having one not worth the loss at the end? Wait a little while to finish mourning your other one then look for a dog in a sheter or rescue that really needs you. There are plenty around looking for a good home.

Getting another dog is a good idea.It will fill the empty space that your last dog left. Just dont get a cat,they're not as loyal and they leave hair everywhere

hi there liltripp_91 i am so sorry for your loss of your dog yes you should get another dog i am not a dog person i do like dogs i just dont know much about them but i do for cats cause i have them what dog are you thinking of getting my friend has a labordoodle i think thats how you spell it but i am not sure

It hurts to lose a pet but the joy they bring into our lives is endless. They are great company and it depends on the breed of the dog to what you personally will get out of it. Dogs are so dependable and are always there for us when we need a cuddle. Yes it hurts to lose them but the good things they bring into our lives far outweighs the bad most of the time. Good luck with your decision.
