Rapper's Mother Dies of Plastic Surgery Complications

It's been reported that rapper Kanye West's 58 year old mother has died of complications of plastic surgery; no details as to what type of plastic surgery have been given, or at least not in the reports I've seen. This really makes me wonder why is it that so many people seem to be willing to put themselves at such a risk to be beautiful? This woman was well-educated so she apparently knew what she was doing. How many here would be willing to go under the knife for the sake of vanity knowing the risks are the same as any major surgery? Me, I say NO THANKS!

I do not really know who Kane West is, since I no longer listen to that type of music. But, in his mother's defense I will say that the surgery did not necessarily have to be cosmetic. Although, it could have been, I don't know.
I love and respect you anniepa, but this could very well be one of the cases of jumping to conclusions that I was speaking of. Let's find out all of the details first.
Not only that, there could have been maybe an ugly mole hanging from her face that she wanted to get removed for her son's sake. You know when your child becomes famous, you somehow get thrown into the public eye and judged also.

I just read the story on Ask.com and Wikipedia. Both indicated for the most part that it was in fact plastic surgery. Reading the story and finding out how close she was with her son really touched my heart. And I was right, she did spend a lot of time in the public eye.
Maybe, she just wanted to look nicer for her son. She obviously really loved him. I am just an extremely sensitive person. This is exactly why I have no idea of what is going on in the world. Sad stories break my heart and are too much for me to bear. Most of the time, my family and friends let me know what is going on in the world.

It is really risky. Anything artificial is fake. So we should not try to fool the nature.
Originally Plastic surgery should be used when people fall in accidents and get their body or face deformed. It should never be misused to get beautiful.
