what is the best kind of dog

ive owned two types of dogs in my life, a siberian husky and a golden retriever. i loved these two dogs. so my question is what do you think is the best kind of dog.

I don't know if breed should matter so much as personality. If a dog is loving and playful, it's a good dog. If it mean and way too territorial, it's definately not the dog for me. The dog I had when I was younger was loving and very playful, and she was a mutt. My last dog was a pitt mixed with something else(not sure what)and she was a huge baby. She even had her own teddy bear and had to sit in your lap 24/7. Can you picture that one? :)
