we have seen two warriors giving and trading best punches, causing knockdowns of the other, then rising up, avenging the knockdown, then.. knockout. let's talk about these fights.. castillo-corrales? gatti-ward? marquez-vasquez? arce-hussein? paquiao-morales? ali-louis? anything i miss...? what's the best boxing fight for you?

I like Manny Pacquiao alot but you guys are extremely biased towards him since your are all Phillipinoes. I'm a boxing fan. Although i like Manny Pacquiao alot, he isn't the greatest fighter there ever was. He is very one dimensional and sometimes uses amateur tactics. Hopefully he will fight Juan Manuel and will see how he does. I feel Marquez will beat him. I can understand liking someone but Phillipinos go crazy overboard lol
The best fights I have ever seen, Corrales, castillo 1. Foreman Frankie Lylle. Maywetaher Gatti, one sided beat down ( this Gatti still had something left in the tank). Ricardo Mayorga Felix trinidad. There are so many more I can't recall right now

Hello marabdl86, my friend! If i had been biased towards Manny pacquiao it is because the only time that i watch boxing events are those with manny in the fight so I can't really say anything with other boxers.
And i think it is but natural only for us Filipinos to have admired him so much. Yes, you might be right in saying that he isn't so far the greatest boxer of all time. Nonetheless, he had already put our country on the boxing map at this time. Isn't it something to be proud of? "peace!"

honestly i am not inclined into sports and boxing in particular is not my cup of coffee. But since i am from the philippines and Filipinos are known to be the best boxers i can't help but contribute to this discussion. Of course, for me the best boxing fights would be those with Manny " pacman" Pacquiao fighting in it. Only pacquiao can make me watch boxing events. We, Filipinos, are so proud of him for giving our country so much pride. He's considered here like a national hero that everytime he fights everybody is glued to watching him. Funny really because only during manny's fight that you'll see political leaders from opposing groups unite together, there's no traffic and almost zero crime rate.

wow.. it's amazing how a sport can unite a country. manny pacquiao is huge everywhere. even here in central america.. by the way, i am a pinoy. may i ask, which fight of manny u really like?
i watched his last fight with barrera. manny was not impressive there. i thought he would knock out barrera at any time, but he was unable to do so. or i was asking too much for manny. anyway, i knew he could do it with his power and speed.
because of manny i think, many filipinas are starting to like boxing. that's good news. boxing can also be a self-defense.

The best fight i've everseen was between the late diego corrales and Jose luis castillo. Its the fight of the century because of Corrales brave heart! winning the fight by KI after getting up in two knock down in the same round! totaly unbelievable!! my favorite fight!
