digital camera or the traditional camera

With the new technology now being invented and discovered, camera is one thing that models keep on growing and growing. From the old battery operated cameras, to zoom lens cameras and to digital, it seems there is no stopping there. Although nowadays, it is film free, yet, batteries are so fast to charge. I still prepare the traditional camera using the required batteries and the lens and the focusing gadgets to use. It is more professional to use and more effective.

Thanks for the response. I still prefer the traditional camera. Focusing is one that cannot be done by the digital, even the distnace which is quite limited to the digital ones. Of course editing is one thats easy for the digital but with the films to be developed that can be done also. At leas camera can help us in many ways. Those were the days. Sorry for the late comment.

Yeah. I would prefer going with new technology. I prefer digital camera. I have one right here in front of me. It is a Samsung. It's small. You can take photos of certain places and stuff. Then have your pics transferred onto your computer. Isn't that easy? I agree that there are lots of high technology inventors out there. For each corporation, there are marketers out there.

With technology as you know the need for perfection also has increased.I prefer digital camera than the traditional one because of the perfection it gives.its very clear that digital cameras are much simpler to use compared to the traditional cameras.they also provide high resolution than the traditional ones.the most important point is the flexibility that digital cameras provide, you can instantly upload the photo taken to a computer.i have a cannon digital camera and from the experience of using both types of cameras, beyond doubt i can say digital cameras are the best.

Thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment. Focusing is one area that the digital camera is limited. Also, the distance is one where the traditional camera can do better. For me, if there are rush jobs that will be done, the digital camera will do but for some professional photography we need the traditional one.

Definitely, digital camera. I got the first models of Sony digicam and it amazes me how easy and friendly it is to operate. During my JS program in high school our film got exposed and we didn't get any souvenir photos from that event. The wonder of digicams is that you can see the shots on the screen if they turn out well and delete unwanted file shots. Also you won't have fear the film might get exposed.

Well, I completely understand why professionals opt for the traditional one. You see, they use so many rolls of films and they can focus on the subject precisely. They know which angle to look at. But for non-pro photographer the LCD is a great, great help. But even with the LCD on, some new users can still not focus precisely.

The digital camera has made it a lot easier for me to get my pictures developed. I used to let the film sit for a while or forget about it. Now with digital you can just upload the pictures online and have them arrive in your mailbox. Another thing that is nice with the digital camera, mine will connect to my television. I find this great for slideshows. Now my friends will come over and ask about pics from my trip. If they are still in my camera we can watch them on the television. Technology is great, isn't it!!!

I know most of us are not professional photographers, so we prefer the digital camera, but if you are a professional photographer you will still use the traditional camera. The focusing and the distance which can be well done with the traditional camera. Thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment.

Digital camera! It's so easy to get your photos - right onto your computer and you don't have to waste money printing them all off if some a really bad. Though I have found that I never bother printing any photos off anymore because off this so I should probably get myself a camera printer thingy or get myself down to the shop once in a while. Now you can get all the zoom lens stuff for the really expensive hi-tech digital cameras too - so it really is the way forward

I agree that the film based camera produces more quality picture but the digital camera offers unlimited pictures. You can take pictures anytime and anywhere and will be able to see if you capture your object correctly. If you are not satisfied you can delete and take another shot if you want too. You can also edit the pictures if needed.

Honestly, I prefer the digital one which suits my hobby - travelling. Digital camera is easy to use, easy to maintain, and somehow much easier to carry along even on those places that cameras are not allowed for taking photos. Organizing the photos are manageable, from the traditional one since it requires developing and scanning to have it digital form. Well, maybe for some, traditional unit is still ok especially if you are using it professionally or for business use. Finally, both cameras have disadvantages and advantages of using them, but it is really for the person's preference and the purpose of having it - either for just taking photos for family occasion and travelling for safe keeping on-line or just because you want to earn money from it by selling your photos.

I'm not a professional photographer. I used to have a Nikon 36mm camera, but that was so much work!!! I didn't have a camera after that for a long time, then recently my brother gave me a digital camera. I LOVE digital cameras! The shots come out crisp and clear regardless of my skill, or lack of it. Then storing the photos on my computer is wonderful because I hate having boxes full of photos sitting around, or stacks and stacks of photo albums. Yep, I am in love.

Time changes really. The photo album you dont like to use. But just the same if you have to copy those pictures, you still have those albums to hold on. Make a comparison on the shots, and the cost of developing, film developing is more cheaper. Thnaks for the response and sorry for the late comment.

It really depends. I'm not a photographer so I find the digital camera a lot more convient. It helps because I usually upload my pictures to facebook or blogs. Also I do charity events in which I have to take photos and send them to people. You can get digital cameras with focusing gadgets and very high tech as well.

I would definitely prefer digital camera. I have a small one. It is a Samsung digital camera. It is a digimax a402 model. It has a movie clip, a 9 photo frame, and a pictbridge. The lens are 5.8 milimeters in focal length. It has 4.0 mega pixels. It is an awesome camera to have. It already has a memory card inside it.
