Stem cell research in my state this election.

Recently Michael J. Fox has campaingned in my state supporting stem cell research and a candidate that supports it. Two candidates running for senate are on opposite ends of the spectrum concerning stem cell research. In addition to that, there is also a constitutional amendment on the ballot to legalize stem cell research in our state. Here is my views on the topic. God gave us free will to do as we choose. Without free will do make our own decisions or create new things, we would be living in the mud, without fire, clothing, or anything else. We would all die in our early twenties, and would hunt animals to eat with sticks and stones. Our species would probably already be extinct. Free will has it's up's and downs. Nuclear power and biological weapons for instance. Sure nuclear bombs killed many people in japan, but how many people has nuclear energy saved...millions. To get the energy to save millions, thousands had to die. A horrible trade off, yes. But was it worth it, I believe so. Same as biological weapons. The potential is there to be devestating to all mankind, but the potential from the research is there to save millions or billions more now and in the future. Free will comes with it's ups and downs. But the ups overtake the downs in the long term. Sure people are against these measures, but the benefits are there and I have to believe god gave us free will just for this reason. I believe god is for stem cell research. Satan is the one against it, he is trying to get mankind to second guess god. And by going against the research we are second guessing god. God GAVE US FREE WILL. I pity and pray for the souls of those who oppose god and who oppose our ability to research stem cells as god wants us to. Any other opininions.
