Anyone else compulsively buy all the add-ons?

I've been playing this game since The sims came out and love how it's improved. Whenever a new add-on pack comes out be it an add-on like Bon Voyage or just extra bits like teen Style Stuff I have to buy it straight away, I always have it pre-ordered no matter what it is, and I don't even get much chance to play the game anymore. Does anyone else have this strange compulsion/obsession/loyalty?

I wanna play the Sims 2 Universities expansion. That sounds like so much fun! I wonder if the teenage girls can get pregnant like the real world counterparts? lmao, that would be hilarious! Girly Sim and Boy Sim are out on a date together and end up "Woo-Hoo"ing as the game calls it. Then they end up with a little baby in the dormroom with them! =D

Oh hehe. Guess the creators didn't wanna give teens who play this game any ideas lol. That would still be funny though, at least I think so, if they accidently got pregnant. Say bye bye to your college years daddy!

It is a great expansion but they can only woo-hoo and not try for a baby, I don't know if they can get accidently pregnant though!

the amount of time i've spent downloading custom stuff online is ridiculous, by the time i've finished I have no time to play the game!

I don't buy the stuff packs but always buy the expansion packs. Up until Bon Voyage I ordered quite a while after they came out, Bon Voyage and now Free Time I have pre-ordered. I just wonder whether the stuff packs are worth it when you can get so much great stuff for free from sites such as MTS2, etc? I also find that the more packs I add the slower it seems to load on my computer and already I am wondering why I pre-ordered another pack when my computer has been struggling as it is. I have Windows Vista 512MB RAM and 80Gig Hard drive which is already almost used up. As I result I don't get to play it too often because I need quite a bit of time to load it never mind play it as well.

I think i'd just feel like I was missing out if I didn't get even the stuff packs. I think they're worth it, I mean you can usually get them dirt cheap and to get the good quality stuff on the internet you usually have to pay a bit. Still I wouldn't like to work out how much i've spent altogether on them all!

I am completely addicted to the add-ons. My favorite ones are Glamours Life and the new H&M Fashions.

I'm looking forward to the kitchens and bathrooms one though. I have all the boxes lined up on the shelf under my desk and it looks ridiculous the amount of add-ons that have come out and that I have bought!

I don't want to say it is one of my addictions, but I DO buy new add-ons, but I don't pre-order. I wait for it to actually come out and then buy it, but not right away. I like trying out all the new features of the game and I don't want to get left behind. :)

I always have to have them straight away even though I know they drop in price like a month after they've come out. I suppose it's cause they aren't quite as expensive as a new game but adds so many new elements into the game it's almost as if it is a new game. Plus I get double point on my Game rewards card!

I have to buy all the expansions. Even though I tell myself I'm not! I don't really buy the Stuff Packs, because I download alot of customs off the web! I don't get to play a lot anymore since I do an online job now and I have to have my internet up all the time! I need to find more time for it though!!

I download as well, I try and avoid looking at the sites for a bit because if I see something I like I have to download it! I even use a few sites you have to pay for!

I do not pre-order; but I always buy them. I am a Sims 2 addict =^-^=
It's so much fun to see all the new and funny things that they do in the new expansion games.

I can't help it, I get so excited about any new abilities. i'll not play it for months then some little add on comes out and i'm playing it all the time again. Just got the teen style add-on. I think it's like an addiction because as long as they carry on bringing out add-ons, and even a sims 3 (if they ever do) i'll have to buy it just so i can see whats new.
