Samantha Carter Joining the Atlantis

well im a little late but i just seen the episode where sam joins the atlantis team as it is currently not aired in australia it took me a long time to hunt this episode down. replacing wier with sam was a great descision. Image rodney mckay running atlantis (just jokes luv ya rodney) No sam coming to atlantis is a great idea and she is running atlantis better than wier which by the way i hope they do find..as a stargate fan bringing sam over is was a way of keeping the sg1 spirit alive..

I don't think she was meant to be a major player in this season. Maybe next season she might play a more prominent role on screen. Right now her job is the same as Dr. Weir's old job so it's really not that exciting. Sheppard, McKay, Ronon, Teyla, etc get to do all the fun stuff still.

they haven't really had many episodes with Sam the as the focus of the episodes. It seems to me that it is wasting some good story lines that could be explored with her character

I love the fact that they have included samantha carter into the atlantis team it keeps the old spirit of stargate sg1 alive plus she's a great addition to have in there for the viewers and very easy on the eyes :-) i would love them to use some of the old sg1 team in atlantis as well but just as cameo roles not as permenant placements daniel jackson would be a great one to have in there for a mission or two.
