Does anyone have any at home remedies for a toothache? I am in a ton of pain here. I don't have dental insurance and I don't have any money to go to the dentist. I have THREE of my wisdom teeth finally coming in and they hurt like heck. I also barely have a tooth left on my upper back tooth that is really hurting. That tooth a dentist drilled most of off and put some filling crap on it a few years ago, but it came off and now it hurts like h@!!. Any ideas to help with the pain?

Do you like drinking tea? If you do, then soak some cotton wool in cool tea and place it on the tooth. It will help with the swelling. Get some baby teething gel, they have a local anaesthetic property to them and can provide some relief. The other thing you need to do is keep brushing it, even if you get a super soft baby toothbrush. If you don't, you run the risk of infection. A painkiller that is ibuprofen based might be better too.
