in my 27 years of existence, i just realized that HAPPINESS is a very subjective factor in one's life. Being happy does not depend on achieving what you want. But rather making the best of what is given. Life is not fair, it never really was. The only thing that can make you completely happy is contentment. Be contented of what you have but be sure to aim higher and never stop believing that you can do better each time. But if all else fails, don't forget that an ordinary YOU has very understanding GOD to back up at all times.

Hi there sjan! I am very much impressed with the realizations you have made. And I definitely agree with you that the key to one's happiness is contentment. I have long been searching for the real happiness. I have explored so much and I could really say that I have already lived my life to its fullest yet I was never really contented. I have been through the ups and downs of life. I had so many failures and success but I have never felt any contentment, I kept on asking for more than what I have. Which I think is one of the reasons why I was never truly happy...
