do u approve or deny ur friends request?or just donot do any thing about it?

I normally approve people that have requested my 'friendship'. Though when I first joined up I denied a couple of people as I didn't know what I was doing. LOL And when I request a friendship on here it is because 1) I responded to the person's discussion, 2) they responded to mine, or 3) we have the same interests. Pretty simple really. :)

There are three category of people among my lot friends. 1. As soon as they become member of mylot, they apply for friendship thinking that they are in safe hands. 2. There are people who like the discussion topics and apply for friendship 3. there are people who want the friendship thinking that all thetime we willbe contributingg to discussions 1 out of 100 really worthy to be friend, they actively participte and give valuable suggestions and stay as member for long. Rest of the them are railway passenger. As soon as the train approaches a station they get out of the trains.

I study the requests i recieve for friendship and look in to the persons profile, the kind of discussions started, responses given trying to build a picture of the individual. When i feel that the concerned person is just right to be my friend i give an approval. I also see that the person is active member. If the personis a new member i wait for sometime before giving my approval trying to judge the person during that time. If in that period the person is inactive i ignore the request.

I have to go through all the users who has sent me a friend request because I didn't have a time to be on Mylot for a long time and now I see that 84 people has sent me a friend request. I usually go to their profile and also see what type of topics they've been posting. If someone has been posting something really offensive then I would deny. I don't deny for no reasons but I also feel that I have a right to choose who I want to be on my friend list :)

I don't easily add friends, I try to keep them low as much as possible so I can be sure that I'd get to most of their posts and respond to their discussions. I don't post much, so I don't expect them to always come on my own discussions whenever I start one. The important thing is that we have "connections" with each other, from interests or simple subjects that we can discuss every now and then..

i always approve friends... all of them are "notify on" in my list... well apart from earning, i just think its childish to deny friends who wants to be in ur list

I never rejected someone’s request here in mylot, ever. I think it’s a pleasure that someone saw you here and got interested probably, it means you are something here that’s why they asked you to accept them in your friend’s list. I say don’t reject friend’s request too because some mylotters respond to their friend’s discussion most of the time and that’ll help you grow here in mylot. :)

It is very rare for me not to accept a friend, because this is a friendly site and I love making friends from around the world. However if someone has just added me as a friend without reading one of my discussions I find it strange because at least take a notice of my profile or respond before adding me, otherwise why have you chosen me? I have a lot of friends on Mylot which is great, but it is not easy to reply to everyone, not enough hours in the day.

I approve any friend request that I get. That way I have more discussions that I can answer and I have more people that will see my discussions and answer them. Although I have found that even with a big friends list, more of my responses come from people who aren't on my friends list.

I always approve my friend's request. It's a good way to expand my network, gain more relationships and learn each other's culture. The more friends I have, the better I become.

I will always approve a friend request. To me, friends are important as they can opt to get alerts when you post a new discussion. based on my experience, I will get lots of replies or comments from friends rather than from someone who is not in my list. Apart from that, I will get alerts when they posted their discussions and I can go straight to those discussions. Only when I am done with that, I would go and look for other discussions such as this one.

WELL .whenever anyone sends me request for frnd i accept it.i see their profile n slao send message.however i dnt receive much response frm my frnds.i do make a point to respond to thier discussion as much as i can

I accept all my friends request,because when i have answerd most of the posts in todays hot topics and news, i go to my friends pages and answer the post they have made:)... I learend this from a friend i made here. it is a great way to do things i think.

I always approve them , but I never think of getting something from them. They come for me, they want to be my friends. I should appreciate it, I should be thankful. I'm so lucky to be accepted by them even though I'm new here...

I always approve all the requests as I get. I even don't see the profile of the person. Lets leave along the idea of leaving the friend's request. I believe as far as nothing serious is concerned, there is nothing to worry.

Well if he/she worth acceptable, I will accepting the frens request.

I never denied friend request. I always approve every one who want to be in my friend's list.

I approve friends once they send me a request i never choose anyone to be my friend. Eventhough we haven't met yet.

if someone make friend request to me I don't deny that person 'coz I don't want to be denied...
