have you noticed in H&S commercials, where it says "visible flakes only"? i'm quite confused with that part. i know this is kinda silly.. but how come they claim to remove 90+% of your dandruff if the product applies for visible flakes only? what about those "not" visible flakes? and those annoying hardened flakes on the scalp? don't get me wrong, i do use H&S (in fact, its my fav), but i don't have dandruff so it makes me a bit curious.

If you do not have dandruff, it is better not to use such type of shampoos as it may damage your scalp. It is better to use normal shampoo. It will be still better to use herbal shampoo/powder.

@copperkitten hahaha.. yeah.. funny how they make the text so small, you can barely see it. i guess were on the same page coz we have the same reason for using H&S. plus, i love the cool, refreshing feeling on my scalp after a bath. c',) . @jeyaprakash84 i really prefer H&S over herbal shampoos simply because of the way it does to my hair. besides, herbal shampoos only give me dandruff. i'm not sure why, but it happens everytime i use herbal.

I think for dandruff herbal treatment is the best.If you use shampoos it will damage the tissues.Messaging the scalp with coconut oil is best to prevent dandruff up to some extend.

coconut oil? doesn't that just make the scalp softer? i haven't heard about it with regards to dandruff. but it sure is great in making your hair healthy. as far as i know, aloe vera is the best bet for the scalp. and i mean fresh picked ones! not only does it help minimize dandruff, it also does wonders for the scalp. c',)
