yesterday i recieved a letter from my daughter's school that said there was an eighth grader with a gun at school and action was taken. now my daughter is in pre-k and she is 4 years old, how am i supposed to feel about a gun being found in her school. i am really mad, but do not know what to do. what if something else happened this boy could have hurt a lot of people or if he thinks he is bad enough to bring a gun to school how do i know that he would not have rapped a little kid. please i need so feed back to help me figure out what to do and how to feel about the situation..

The student should be expelled for the rest of the year or put in a specialty school, perhaps juvenile prison. Something that will keep other kids from even thinking about it. He must be used to set an example.
