How could we even atempt to come up with an honest opinion about which player plays better basketball than the other? Without citing the differences of why we choose one player to be better than another? suchas Kobe or Lebron or Tim Duncan or Dwight Howard? I would like to hear your formulated opinions or comparising responses of why or what are the bases of your decisions? Whether it be Kobe or Lebron the better player between the two NBA SuperStars that are compiling legendary statistics in the sport of basketball.========================

i like jason kidd. he is the triple-double machine in the nba. what do you say to a player who scores, rebounds, and assists in double-digits?
there must something special in a player who can do those things. nba has players who can score (kobe, james, carter, arenas, anthony, iverson); also some players who can rebound well (duncan, garnett, o'neal, okafor); and players who can assist (nash, williams, kidd, paul). but there is only one player who can do all those things consistently. it is jason kidd.
besides, he has brought the nets in the nba finals twice. although he is 34, there is no sign of slowing this guy. his averages for this season are up.

Mr. Jason Kidd 34 years of old now ok he seems to be a well liked individual with a good name to go with it I beleive he came out of High school to play in the nba and he is with or a driving force to see the U.S.win in basketball encouraging his teammates that it is not a reason not to win as a team basketball has gone global and you have teams that are use to playing together from other countries quit a bit no need to say our world champions of the nba against your players around the world so that tells me he still has a love for this sport I remember when he played on the United States High School All American Team and heard his interview and he came off as a guy you could easily trust and you wanted him not only do good in the nba coming out of High School but you wanted him to win at least one championship and to go far and do well in this life. I guess it was because he had the talent very talented point guard no doubt and without question but it just goes to show any and all of us that having a good mental and positive attitude can carry you a long way if you use it especially when we manipulate it's full potentials.

I think it's all about the preference of the fan. If the person enjoys the adrenaline that comes with watching 3 pointers or dunks rain, he'll enjoy Kobe or Reggie Miller. If he enjoys good team basketball, he'll choose the Suns (Steve Nash-Amare), Spurs (Timmy, Tony and Manu) or Celtics (The Big 3). It's all in the fan, not the player.
But of course, there is one guy who you can be sure of 90% of the time that is the absolute best : MJ.
