I don't know it has been my habit of keeping my clocks ahead by 15 minutes. Though I know and each and every member of my family they know we never try to rectify it! It gives a false satisfaction of having 15 minutes at our disposal though we know what the fact is! Is there any one else on this forum doing the same thing like me, if so why do you do it? I will appreciate the various reasons from our dear members! Please could you respond ? Yhanks !

Yep. I set all my clocks 10 min fast. Then everyone gets there buts in gear and are ready to go earlier. I have always set them fast. I guess because I know then I still have a few extra minutes to do what i need to do.

Yes, inspite of knowing the fact that our clocks are faster we still pretend to take the face time as the actual and we manage our time! Isn't a funny thing? Well life goes like this only ! Thanks friend for responding!

I keep the time in my clock a bit faster.. It helps me get ready faster in the morning, since I have to reach office quite early... I just keep it 5 mins after time...

No way. I would have it in my head that it is off by 15 minutes and do the proper calculations. My husband keeps his alarm clock off by 3 or 4 minutes - behind. I will look at the clock thinking I have 5 minutes until Ellen starts and then realize that the clock is behind and Ellen is on NOW! I remember a friend who had clocks in her house but none of them had the correct time on them. I don't even think half of them were even running. It drove me crazy!

I keep my watch and the clock in my car 7 minutes ahead. I act like it is the correct time, that way I am usually early. However if I am running late, I am most likely on time.

Most of the people do it. It gives a feeling of satisfaction. This has become a part of our life. We do this and we achieve by this. So it is useful. We can't say it is useless but we can say it is productive.

Hi akrao! I also prefer to keep my colck ahead. I usually set my clock 10 minutes ahead than the actual time. I do this to avoid getting late to my college. I am a bit lazzy. When I was in school, I used to miss my school bus by just a few seconds. From then onwards, I have made my habbit to keep my clock a little bit faster than the normal time.....
