Kids say the darndest things

My sister and her daughter is staying some 300 kms away,and she is just doing her First standard, ( four years completed) And wanted to come to our house on vacation.. but her Dad had some other plans, and so he told her, that the Cost of petrol has gone up, and petrol consumption is getting more and more, so we cant afford to go your uncle's house( my house) during this vacation. Saying this he left in his car for a business trip, for two days. And when he returned after two days, her Dad brought some teddybears, dolls, and some playful items for her to play. But she didnot show any interest in these things, and went out of the house quietly and returned after few minutes. And now to the utter disbelief, she came up to her and said ,"Dad you have driven your car more than 500 kilommeters during this two days. Does not this cost you any petrol.But when i want to go to my, uncle's house it cost's you petrol." Her Dad never expected a reply, and more so a keen observation from her.. (Actually she had noted the Milometre reading, before her Dad was leaving her house..which she told me over phone.) Take care and have a nice day:)

I am sorry I don't have a kid, but the friend just send me email about what the kids say and I just love few of them so much, so I though I would post it here.It is about kids praying to the god. 1. Dear God I went to this wedding and they kissed right in the church. Is that ok? 2.Dear God thank you foe baby brother, but what i prayed for was a puppy. 3.Dear God, if you watch in church on SUnday I will show you my new shoes.
