My daughter gave me a bottle of Aromatherapy Tranquil Mint body wash by Bath & Body Works. I would like to make something similar to this product, but I do not know how to begin. It has peppermint, rosemary, green tea so I think there has to be something similar I can make with these ingredients. Anyone knows of any good site where I can find great homemade beauty products?

oh, absolutely...
First stop: www.about.com do a search for soaping. Great place to start.
Second stop: soapcrafters.com
getting through all the good information in these two should only take you oh, say three or four weeks lol. then of course, there are a few bazillion links.
Warning: Soapmaking (or soaping as we so lovingly call it)is highly addictive. Soaping includes making not only soap but almost any bath and toiletry product.
I would highly suggest that you try what is called melt & pour soap first. It as easy as making Jell-O and uses no chemicals, so is not as scary for a beginer and costs less tha buying the supplies to make processed soap. As for your fragrances, both sites have links to companies which sell multitudes and some sell very close substitutes for the Bath & Bodyworks line.
So explore, enjoy, and warn your friends and family. They are about to have a soaping nut in their midst.

When I owned my home business I used to make bath products and its actually quite easy to do....I never ventured into soaps but i made body wash, bath salts, lip balm, lotion etc....Is it at body wash you'd like to make or something else?
