Ronaldo - Ronaldo at McDonald's
We usually take our son out for a McDonald's treat once a month. We order the same thing ALWAYS. Our son gets his Kiddie meal with a chicken burger. I get a Chicken burger too and my husband gets something he is in the mood for that particular day. Usually, my son and I share a large Coke (it's a special treat for him..we don't keep pop at home) and maybe get him a softie if he's been really good. Chicken McGrill is our favourite.

Lot of people can afford McDonalds..after all they have the 99cent menu. I like to treat myself on occasion. But when I am working it's rare that I swing by McDonalds.. My first "priority" is work during the week.

It's not like we can't afford going out often...but junk food isn't a regular affair. We prefer home cooked food and so my son gets a special treat of McDonald's once a month and a pizza once a month. He's 7 years old. He has lunch at the school cafetaria and we'd like him to appreciate home cooked food too.

I never eat at Mc D's because the food there is a heart attack sitting on a plate. It's absolutely disgusting, this is why the obesity rating in the US is rising so drastically. People have got to start eating healthier or else were going to start having some major health problems in the US and around the world!

Is that right..A heart attack waiting to happen..hmm..That is a very interesting take on the McDonalds burger. I actually read of a man who lost weight eating only mcdonalds...how do you figure that one? What do you usually eat as meals..if you don't mind me asking?

Have you ever seen the movie Super Size Me? That explains my reasoning, also not to mention the insane number of articles in the news about how high the obesity rating is in the US right now and its caused by to much fast food and a lack of exercise. I am a big subway fan, healthy food, but I mostly try not to eat out at all I like to cook myself.

I do not watch ..hollywood movies.. and I think it is all in the genes..Some people eat and eat and eat and never put on a pound..Some barely enhale and they gain a ton.. I am not worried about the issue..I do worry about my soul...would that we could be so worried about that!

I think the question will suit me better if you change "month" to year. :P I seldom eat fast food. I only eat it when I have that occasional craving for a burger or fries. I like most of the items on the menu. McSpicy, fish, chicken burger, nuggets, among others.=)

Also I like chicken mc nuggets with french fries. I really like their's french fries, since they are so soft and always fresh. Never find some like those. We usually spend around $20-30 with my fiancee.

Twice a month ..wow and only the french fries..Do you like eating french fries form other restaurants as well? Why is it you only order the french fries?
14 Nov 07
Never. I stopped eating at that place when I was about 16 (9 years ago). I did a paper on it for college on it's impact on the environment and it was pretty scary, plus have you seen the ingrediants to just one bread bap? If I was gonna eat stuff like that (i'm actually a vegetarian now but veggie burgers count) I prefer to make it myself. I don't eat at any fast food chain, I do have take-aways but only from local take-away places.

What is a take away..you mean drive thru .. ? What are the names of some of your "take away" restaurants? Whatdo they serve there?
14 Nov 07
we don't have many drive-thru's over here only in places where it's pretty hard for people to walk to like big retail outlet stores on the edge of towns. Take-aways is food that is ordered and delivered (not everywhere does that), Every town has a few mainly indian and chinese. The chinese ones of course do chinese food but indian take-aways do burgers, pizza, kebabs as well as indian dishes. But they are usually one off's usually just run by a family. Fast food restaurants aren't as widespread in the UK unless your in a highly populated area. In my town we have roughly 6 chinese take-aways (2 are also restaurants) a kfc and an sfc which is just an independantly owned version of kfc which hasn't done too well since it opened a couple of years back, 3 fish and chip shops, about 5 Indian take-aways (two are also restaurants) and a subway which only opened this year and is hugely popular. I don't think a Mcdonalds has even been proposed even though we have a fairly large population standing at about 30,000 including surrounding places that rely on coming into the town, a booming tourist trade and a university. I think things work slightly different over here than in America. Price in McDonalds are different too, more expensive over here as they don't convert the prices your 99cent deal is 99p over here which is about $2 over there (well a bit less but not much). sorry if i've rambled a bit.

I think I go to Mc Donalds about twice or thrice a month. My son is mad about Happy Meals and the toys that come with them. My wife likes to go to the Coffee Shop and ask for a cappuccino. So there I go with them. I prefer to eat the Quarter Pounder with Cheese than the Big Mac. And sometimes I also ask for a Sundae. When we go the three of us I would say I spend about $ 15 (american dollars, of course).

Wow you have a coffee shop with your McDonalds? Lucky you! Sounds like you have better prices over there. Your son is smart.. Happy Meals are favorites over here for children too:)

I eat there about once every couple of weeks. Actually lately I have been going there in the morning on my way to work because I have been working ridiculously long hours and sleeping in too late in the mornings to make my own breakfast. The sausage and egg mcmuffin fills me up and is a nice and warm and tasty start to the day. Of course I'm aware that it's full of fat and preservatives and artificial flavourings and is rubbish for my body so I try to eat healthy for the rest of the day. Everything in moderation is the key to good health. If I'm eating from the normal menu I usually just get a mcchicken or fillet of fish burger. I don't get the meals because the burger is enough to fill me up without soft drink and greasy fries!

I don not eat on mc donald. Its most common that I eat it at jollibee. I dont know but here in my country jollibee is more appealing to kids. (including my kids) so we usually eat there. And I like the chicken of jollibee better than mc donald. So I could say that I eat at mc donald maybe once every 5 years.

What is Jollibee? Is this a fast food restaurant too? How long has this restaurant been in existence.? Do they have "meal" that is fast food orders that come with everything: burger, fries and drink?

We have 6 kids, so we go to McDonalds WAY too often! We go at least 6 to 8 times a month. We spend anywhere between $15 and $40 depending on how many of us are eating there. The kids get happy meals and I usually get either Chicken Nuggets or a Big Mac. I love their fries!

I like the fast foods in McDonald's. However, I seldom go there today. Because when I am home, my mom already prepares for the dinner and I have no chance to go out to eat the fast food.

i don't often go there for meal.no hiding that i feel the food there very yummy ,but still, i know that eating it too much is not good for health. so , i typically eat MC Donalds for 5 times or so every year and spend around 50 RMB for each time. reagrding the favorite item on their menu, it's hard to choose single one. i wanna say i almost like all the food there, just like chicken burger, cola, ice cream, chip, etc. happy posting!
