My daughter is in her 1st ballet performance of her life the weekend after Thanksgiving..(The Nutcracker).. wouldn't you know it my hubby and I come home from a night out and wake up to find that she has some how gashed her cheek under her eye... It looks so painful :-( but what matters the most is that I think we will have it forever documented in her very 1st ballet photo... How many of you has this happened too :-)

Awww. I guess you'll forever know the exact time she had the mumps. It's good she was still able to be in the play:-)

M ylittle girl had that in her first school photo. I was so mad as it happened at her mothers house from her mom not paying attention. My daughter hit her eye on the corner of the coach and it was totally black and blue.

Well that happened to me when I was 6 but that never stopped me from dancing just because my mom took a picture of me with a black eye. Don't worry about that 1st photo, there's still many more chances for you little girl to look good in her ballet photos. Now I dance in Ballet Center Manila and still look at my picture but I just end up laughing about it. Well I think you should worry about that bruise and not the photo your little girl has many chances to join recitals and shows.
