To have lap band surgery or not

I'm sorry I don't have any first-hand knowledge to share. I did notice when I was doing Pre-certification that there were many people going in for surgery with the doctor that specializes in the Lap-band procedure. I wouldn't see them listed for the ER after the surgery, either. That's a good sign. I think one way to feel better about this is to talk with a reputable surgeon. Preferably the one who you would have doing the procedure. Write down any questions you have. Keep a little notebook with you to jot down any other ones that pop in your mind now. Then, when you actually TALK to the doctor, any questions you could come up with are right there. Also thoroughly check out any doctor you are thinking of having do the surgery. If you feel good about the doctor, your nerves won't be as bad about it. Hope this helped some. :)
