The names of the doctors are listed in the Medical Association of the country. Secondly the serial number of a doctor as a Practicing physcian is displayed in doctor's clinic. Make note of the number and you can counter check authenticity through internet.
basically you have to go to France and they will work out the process with you.. just make sure to call ahead so you wont get stuck standing in a long line.
