I reached 100 today.

I have the same question when I reached my 100th post before. Some members explained to me that the number in the star represents our mylot reputation. We get a high rating (the highest is 10) when we post quality discussions and the other members give us a positive rating for that discussion or response.

Congratulations on reaching your 100th post. As for the meaning of the star, as the others have said it is your reputation. The stars go from 1 to 10, so an 8 is pretty high. Don't worry too much about the star ratings though because sometimes they do go up and down. Just do the best you can and make sure that you follow the guidelines and you will do fine.

A star and number in it is showing how good your reputation is here on mylot^_^ yellow 8 is quite goo, I started with seven myslef:) It has to do with aiting buttons near the replies and discussion starters you see: +, - or !. + means you think this post is good (I'm not talking about if you shere the same opinion with the one who post but if it is descriptive, useful etc.), - means the post is bad (like oneliners, sensles posts that has nothing to do with the subject of discussion) and there's ! too, for post which are against myLot rules (offend other mylotters, have referral links in them etc.) The better your reputation is the more you can earn for each post but it is unknown how important it is in earning algorithm^_^ Hope that helped you^_^

Congratulations for reaching that. I was really so glad when I had reached the same because that was quite hard on my part. Even though how much i wanted to post many discussions, respond on to other's discussions or add some image, it is quite difficult for me because I have a job that requires intensive writing and thinking. The color and the 8 you had discovered and notices corresponds your rating. That is noticeable when you reach 100 posts. Keep on moving to mylot until you get paid. Good Luck!

hi, congrats!!!! its time to party i still remember the time i had achieved that 100 and got 8 star like u and than after a while it got degraded to 6 and 7 and then again i regained it back to 8.Actually the stars with numbers indicate your good will and reputation on mylot family.10 with a blue star indicates the best,9 says the very good,8 says good and like wise. now i am eagerly waiting for 500 post its would same feeling as like ur achieving 100..

i am now 164,but i still have a white start witn 7 in it.i aslo can't understand why.^^
