How Did Everyone Fare During Our Wind Storm On Monday?

Well if you live in Oregon or Washington, did you get hit with the lovely windstorm yesterday? How did you fare?
I live in a canyon, surrounded by alot of really tall and old trees. It becomes a bit nerve rackiing at times, when the wind decides everything needs to blow and bend sideways. Justin called a few times to make sure we still had a house. My Jeep survived as well even though a rather large banch decided my jeep needed to look like a Christmas tree.
We lost power for about 7 hours. Justin had to go to the store to get my morning cup of coffee. We live outside city limits so we are always the last to get our power back. Fortunately we have a wood stove so keeping warm wasn't an issue and our power was back before it was completely dark.
Now we have quite a lovely mess to clean up.
So how did the rest of you fare?

Here in Minnesota there was a city up North that recorded a wind gust of 105 MPH. Here where I am we had gusts of 45 MPH only. I had a few bags of leaves that were blown down the road. I did go get them too. Now today is just as windy but the temps are a lot coller. Well they are at the norm for this time of year. So I hope to make out good again today. The leaves are still where they were at yesterday. HAHAHAHA!! Bumer about the power outage. I hate that. So how bad is the Jeep then?
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Wow honey - we have had some pretty bad weather here but nothing like that thankfully! I am glad that you and yours are all ok and that I didn't know you were in that situation - I think I would have been freaking out about your safety if I had known!
Isn't J a sweety going to the store to buy you coffee - does that man have any faults? lol Hugs xxx

I live in Northeastern Washington and I was driving home from about 15 miles away and it was literally trying to blow my car off of the road. I had to drive about 40 in a 60mph zone to keep control of my car. There was also a lot of debris (tree limbs and such) on the road way. Trees in my yard faired pretty well just a few branches and lots of leaves now off of the trees. Today it is frozen solid out there! 20 when I woke up at 6:00 AM

I hate driving in wind storms. Mostly because I am always afraid I am going to get hit by something big, like a tree or boulders. To bad all that stuff doesn't blow into a pile so it's easier to clean up.
20 is cold bbrrrrr! It was 34 when I woke up.
