i think the germs spread from daycares itsself..its hard to handle that. i think u can hire a nanny..and u can always send the nanny home when u dont require her. and let the nanny teach the kid..
Regards

Not everyone can afford a private babysitter. I know the going rate for a cheap babysitter here is upwards of $150 a week. Daycares usually average about 65-90 a week. Most people have a hard enough time affording daycare, let alone an au pair to watch the kids at home, alone.
Plus kids need to be around other kids to learn social skills.

Hello - this story is all too familiar!
Unfortunately kids are prone to sicknesses, germs, bacterias - you name it! And the fact that kids easily spread germs with their hands, mouths, etc., onto all toys, all areas, etc., you just can't control kids getting sick. Especially if the daycare is not taking extra special precautionary measures to keep toys, areas, sanitized and clean and implement a really good sick policy. It's so tough - I know. Seems like you're paying daycare, your taking vacation to care for your kids, you finally get them well and then the cycle repeats. Soon you find yourself having a meeting with HR and your boss because you don't have any time left and nobody sympathizes with you. At least that's what happened with me - then when I had my third child last year, I made the decision to not return from maternity leave. It was the best choice I could make. But I have three. If you have less than that I would consider finding a smaller daycare or hiring a good nanny. Check references and all that - perhaps put up cameras in your house too - too many bad stories with that. There are good ones out there though. Hope everything works out for you!

It's so hard with them in daycare - you know all the kids are carrying around the germs. They end up passing it back and forth all the time. I hope he gets better soon, he's too cute to be sick all the time!!
Take care!!!

I would check out the daycare if i were you. Something must be making him sick and it could be in the day care. As a working mother myself, i have to make sure that everything is okey when i leave my children in the care of others.

I'd find out why he keeps getting sick. I know the probability of him getting sick is higher if he's around sick kids, but his immune system is not strong enough to fight it off.
Start giving him some vitamins in his formula or his food. That should help.
