Lord of the ring - is the 1,2, or 3 best?

i completely agree with you, it is indeed one of the best movies i ever saw, the characters, the action was coool. i think all the 3 series were equally good. difficult to say which one was good among them.

Hi! I wish you didn't ask this at all. It is a trilogy - of three stories that flow from one to the other - but it is actually one big story. The first book talks about genealogies, explains the existence of elves, and dwarves, hobbits, and the different races of men. It is like the (his)tory and anatomy and even the sociology of Middle Earth. The Second book tells about the saga of the ring and Frodo's stumbling into it... and into Mordor. Then of course, the Third book caps it all, provides the climax - and even an anti-climax. They are intertwined, so that you cannot have one without the other. And you have to read them in sequence! When I watched the first movie, I did not know that it was not yet the whole trilogy but only book 1. I had to go back to where I bought my CD to complain that maybe it is a fake, because it ended when it is not yet truly ended. Then I realized it was book 1. So it took 3 years for people to watch the full story onscreen.

I prefer LOTR 1 because there's no war in it but I like all of them. There's magic but not too much there's sf but not too much, and what about that stone town?!! That was really awesome!

I prefer the second movie, I've watched it a bunch of time. I can't put my finger on the reason why I like it, it just feels better. There's much more adventure than the first, without the exaggerations of the second

I think the best of the 3 Lord of the Rings is the first one since it paved the way to these kinds of movies. It also revolutionized the movie industry. The Fellowship of the Rings is definitely my favorite.

By my oppinion the best movie in the trilogy is Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. I like it the most. It is very good made and great battles are happening in the movie. I haven't watched it in like 3 months so I should watch it again these days. The third one is ok too but I like the second one better.

well .... as far as im concerned .. i feel all three are equally awesome and cant be differentiated .... but in terms of action sequences and pace i think the second movie ( the two towers) does edge the other two ... but i feel the third one was the best on a overall outlook

Hi I didnt really like the first movie. There is not enough action, but the quality of the movie is still good. The second is surprising, i really did like it, especially all of the scenes of rohan and god, the end battle is insane !!! The tihrd one delivers a very nice ending, has tons of actions and war, i really do like it. because of the massive action and war, ill vote for the third movie !!! RETURN OF THE KING !!!!!!!!

1 or 2 or 3, I guess I have to pick 1 and 3, the second movie like too boring for me..it's only about the hobbits

I loved fellowship of the ring, just for bring the shire to life, it kinda took the viewer away it was great, the two towers was excellent as it showed the main characters more inner emotions, and return of the king, just for its epic battles!

I would say that the first one is the best. I always think that the first movie in a series is the best.
