So, I've been searching around for cell phones because I'm thinking of upgrading my current phone. I've got a very nice LG something or another that has camera and mp3 capabilities, etc.
But as always, naturally we want bigger and better. Well, maybe not necessarily bigger but definitely better. And what Is better these days for cell phones?
Well, it looks as though it is the touch screen phones. First, the iphone, now Verizon is coming out with something similar: with the touch screen, etc.
Is all this REALLY necessary though? I mean, I honestly don't even use all the functions on my cell phone now as it is.
AND what about these touch screens?? Wouldn't they just be randomly calling people, selecting other options while it's in your purse, pocket, wherever? And even if it does have a "key lock" function, isn't that rather annoying having to compute every time you want in or out of your phone?
Then Verizon has this new phone called the "Juke." Well, pretty enough it is but it's freaking TINY! I would suggest this phone for someone that doesn't really need to see the screen.
Verizon has a couple of phones coming out: the Venus and the Voyager. Both of which are in direct competition with the iphone. I'm not sure if either are out on the market yet. I know they are taking pre-orders for at least the Venus now.
Anywho, if anyone has any feedback on any type of phones that are good, or bad, please do leave your comments.

well...i very much am disappointed with toch screens because if these kinds of cellphones last for a long time, the screen would become dirty, wrinkled and you would be having a hard time using it in case you lost the pen for the touch screen..i suggest that you should buy cellphones which are light and useful for your everyday life.
have a nice day!

we're coming to a New Era of technology and i think we're leving the buttons behind because most of the new phones out there right now are touch screen phones. i must say that technology is really developing at an alarming rate.

I am looking at these types of phone right now too. I want a handheld pc. Well, I think I do. I want to be able to log onto the net from wherever. Laptops are kinda bulky sometimes. I want to be able to access my email and everthing when I am out. I want to be able to post on here while I am not at home. Is that obsessive? I am considering taking a leave from work and need to know that I can make some income while I am off.
