Does anyone know what kind of doctor Kayne West mother was? The more I hear of this story, the more I am intrigued. Apparently, Dr. Jan Rudalgo Adams, was a Beverly Hills doctor who had appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show twice. He had also wrote books about plastic surgery and the African American woman.
However, he is also said to have a drinking problem and two malpractice suits. Each of them over $200.000. So how does a doctor, who is obviously not poor or stupid and up under the knife of such a quack? My guess would be a personal recommendation.
This is one reason that I thank God for my level of anxiety. I would know this doctor inside out before I let him cut on me. Not only that, the surgery would have to be needed for my health. I will not risk my life on something trivial. The more I hear of this "doctor" The more upset I seem to get.
One news site said that he was a much better doctor on paper, than on the operating table. I hope that this is the last time he gets to operate on any one. As it is, this is one mistake, he will never forget.

I'm not sure what kind of doctor she was. All I know is that I would NEVER have cosmetic surgery without finding out all I could about the doctor. I would get references and check up on him/her as much as I possibly could. The scary thing is that you hear about botched cosmetic surgerys all the time. I don't care if Oprah or anyone other celebrity endorses them, you still need to check them out. You are right, he will never forget this. Kanye will make sure of that.

Donda West was a retired English Professor. THat is where her doctorate is from. I had some difficulty understanding how someone who has so many resources andeducation could hire doctor like this. I have come to think, without knowing the woman, that there may have been a couple factors. One is the desperate need to fit some model of beauty that few of us ever achieve. No matter how smart you are, you can easily fall into this trap. According to some of the reports I've seen, Donda West went to see another doctor befor settling on Adams. THis doctor told her he would not perfomr the surgery unless she clear a regorous medical evaluation. He had some concerns bout her heart and her age. THis would definetly delay, if not elimante any chances of surgery. She could have just been simply concerned with getting the surgery done as quickly as possible. Another factor is that Adams was fairly well-known. While his medical record was questionnable, the man appeared on numerous tv shows, like Oprah, as an expert guest. Seeing him on a show like Oprah could easily convince someone he is a credible surgeon and not even think about researching his record. It's a shame really that people are falling prey to people who clearly only care about making a buck and not about the oath they took when they became a doctor to begin with. "First do no harm."

I believe that I saw a movie titled, "First Do No Harm." If what you say is true then she was as much at fault as the doctor. If another doctor recommended a battery of test and gave precautions, then she should have heeded is warnings.
It seems as though she picked the doctor who would not make her go through all of that. They were both wrong. This is really sad.
