Have you ever disrespected a bear? How do you get them to want to be your friend again? I tried fish but it didnt really work as well as I would have liked it to.

I don't know much about bears, but I do know they need to be respected...for me, this would mean keeping my distance. Unless it's Smokey the Bear. Then I would be respectful of fire.

That could be a problem. Is the fire out of control? Perhaps it will burn itself out as long as you don't fan the flames.

Aw, is the bear not paying any attention to you? Try poking it with a spear , thats what I do. I'm afraid I'd need to know what you've done in order to try to help rectify it.

I usually just let them have some time, and then try apologizing again. Bears are nice creatures mostly, so I haven't had too many problems with them. But this is how I solve it when I do. Requires a bit of patience though.

*giggles* Yes, mostly. Come now, Transdisc, I'm trying to be objective here. It's very hard for me to do, considering how very fond I am of bears.

I've never disrespected a bear - even one that makes fun of my insecurities about spelling mistakes and poor use of the English language! I think honey is a good bear bribe as they often have trouble getting any without being stung on the nose.

Well, that must be worth a try then!

Hi KB! Whats going on hon? Everything will be alright! All will be forgiven. Im sure that bear never stopped being your friend at all! Im sort of dealing with my own bear right now. I feel I have done the same thing. Of course it wasnt done intentionally, I wish I could take it all back. Im hoping for the best, and trying to stay positive. You should do the same. ;o) Bay Bay xx

Hi kiobug:)No,not that i can say.Bears are big creatures that are met to be let alone and their feelings are sensitive, hehe.I would not disrespect a bear since they are bigger, stonger and you never know when the big paw will come along for a swipe of something claws out and all, haha. If it did happen though,i would let it be for a bit to have time to get back to their original self.It all depends how great the disrespect was, getting feelings hurt takes awhile to get over,if.We are not all the same when it comes to feelings and we do not know how much it takes for someones feelings to get hurt. For us it could be something small and teasing, but for someone else it could be hurtfull and not funny at all.Im very careful what i say around here and do not tease people, maybe a little but i know it will not be taken another way from someone.Theres teasing and then theres the saying "too much of a good thing" can come back and bite you in the butt.(too much teasing can be annoying,i know from experience and it sent me the opposite way of my friend. Peanutjar:):) I hope evrything works out and when "they" are ready they will come back.;);)
