Anyone like stuffed crust pizza? Ever wondered how the cheese got in there?

I ran across a good recipe the other day for homemade stuffed crust pizza.... you just lay out your pizza dough and put string cheese on the edges, then roll the edges over the string cheese. Brush the edges then with melted butter and sprinkle some parmesan cheese, then top your crust with pizza sauce and your usual favorites.

I've tried stuffed crust and although I love pizza and cheese I don't care for the kind they stuff in the crust...now I might try thin strips of velveeta the next time I make homemade pizza or maybe swiss.

I love stuffed crust pizza. Pizza Hut had it on sale this week we usually get a hamburger stuffed crust but the stuffed crust is better than the hamburger part of the pizza. I have never made homemade pizza before I will have to try this sometime it sounds good.

We had Pizza Hut's stuffed crust pizza just yesterday.... yum it was good!
I've never tried to make it myself, but I think I might give it a try. We always have string cheese on hand cause my girls love it. I just worry that the cheese won't melt enough by the time the rest of the pizza cooks...
Let me know if you try it and how it turns out!
