Ok so I thought that after the last time they were told to leave and not come back the door to door zealots would catch a hint. Nope that would be to easy, so again this morning at 9am here they come a knocking. Mind you I'm sleeping, so I get up open the door and tell them yet again to leave this property before I have them arriested for tresspassing and solicitation. I then informed our complex manager that they were here yet again. She was heated. See this isn't the first time they've come here buggin folks and they have been told each time they are not allowed to come here and do this. Next time they come back I'm callin the cops.

It never ceases to amaze me how these people, who think they're so good and righteous, feel like the rules don't apply to them. I used to be amused by them, now I'm just fed up. It seems like they go in waves and send people out to the same neighborhoods 3 or 4 times a month just in case the first group missed anyone or something.

i live in a house, and they are a pain. i never thought they went door to door in apartment complexes though! sheesh. the first couple of visits i am polite and say "no im not interested but thankyou" and make the repeated attempts at closing the door. occasionally a new batch of them will start coming by that get so damn pushy...they do everything but stick their foot into the door jam sometimes!! certianly doesnt encourage me to have anything to do with a religion that causes such unbelievable rudeness. if they've been told..and even the manager has told them, i would definatly call the cops..course the cops might give a better response if the complex manager calls instead of a tenent though.

Oh its nuts, then they act like they are offended when you slam the door in their face. Here's a hint, DON'T KNOCK ON MY DOOR THEN. These people are driving me nuts. If I wanted to go to threir church I would have gone already. I swear there should be laws against this crap.

They shouldn't keep coming if you told them not too. I don't know if they were Jehovah Witnesses or not. I don't agree with Jehovah Witnesses, but I will not be unkind to them. I am glad that there are many who do go out and spread the true Word of God. Many will turn them away, but many will also come to know the Lord thru others' witnessing. God bless.

well, i used to be one of jehovah's witnesses, so i used to have to go to people's houses in the morning, wake them up, and talk to them about god. did i want to do it? no! but, they teach that to be considered a "good christian", you will go preach to people. now that i'm not one of jehovah's witnesses, i think it's funny to mess with them. next time one of them comes to the door, go completely linda blair on them!

"They shouldn't keep coming if you told them not too" LMFAO wow aren't you a hypocrite! How is the door to doors behaviour ANY DIFFERENT to what YOU do online Song? You do the exact same thing..You don't "go away" even after you've been told to repeatedly...

Bullony Raven! I do not agree with the Jehovah Witnesses as I previously said. I will spread the Good News of Jesus Christ everywhere I can. If you don't like it, then don't read it. God bless.

Way back in time, I used to sleep in til noon on Saturdays. Everyone that knew me, knew not to wake me before then unless it was an emergency. But like clock work, at 11 a.m. every Saturday, 2 Jehovah's Witnesses would come to my door and insistently knock for at least 2 minutes. As usual, I grumpily opened the door, told them I already have Christ as my savior, and would close the door as they continued to try to talk me into their version of religion. Well one Saturday I went off. Knowing they would not leave, I answered the door in my shorts - nothing else on. And it was 2 women this time. I thought they would leave on sight. Determined little ones. So I decided to listen to what they had to say. And then I would respond with scientifically proven facts and ask then "How could this be if what you say is true?" After about 20 minutes of this, I was feeling pretty good cuz I could see the bewilderment of their faces. But by then I had them so doubting their beliefs, they just politely thanked me for my time and left. Amazingly, there was never another visit from these JHs again for over 4 years! Guess word got out "Don't go here!"

That is what I have been taught to do, I have studied world reglions and Cults, and jw is deffently a cult, even though their bible is similer to ours. It is critially different when they talk about God and Jesus. But using our bible against theirs is the answer to them brothering you.

I live next door to one of their "Halls".... I either don't answer the door (and all of my doors have windows so they know I'm home) or I just tell them to go on their way that I have my own religion and don't need theirs. I have to get rude once in awhile but they drive like bats out of hades and cut through the corners in our yard so we have in the past gone in to the middle of their services and told them to stop and we have also blanketed their cars with flyers telling them that if they don't stop the police will be notified of their license numbers.

LOL I am definitely NOT better than anyone! LOL They have their Jehova's hall next to our house. Their parking lot is right on the other side of my garage. They cut through my drive into theirs and they cut the corner as they round it to get to their driveway...I can't have them towed out of their own parking lot or believe me, I WOULD!!! LOL

you could post no trespassing signs, take pictures of them crossing on your lawn and file a lawsuit against them.

Don't wait til next time! Call the cops now and give them a heads-up that these people have already been warned. There are signs available for purchase (or you could have your own made) that say "no solicitors" or something to that effect. I think they have to respect that. Maybe you could act like a celebrity and throw a drink at them or something!!!! We are lucky that we don't get them often and when we do it isn't at bad times (like when I am trying to sleep). But boy, if they woke me or my children up I would let them have it! And if they were persistent I would be persistent right back! I would start talking about MY beliefs. I would tell them about my problems until they couldn't take it anymore and walked away. I might even follow them a little bit! If you feel like making the effort your could make a big deal about it and figure out which organization is to blame (if you don't already know) and get together everyone in your apt. complex to hold some sort of protest outside of their property! With signs and news vans and all! I just hate when people are bothered like that. It might be their right to freedom of speech but it is YOUR right to be able to sleep at your own home without being bothered by freaks!

Yes, I know they are a nuisance specially when you are otherwise busy with something and cant attend the doorbell immediately. It’s happened to me many times, like when I am taking a bath and I rush out thinking somebody important may be at the door. Or like I am taking a nap in the afternoon and just when I seem to be dozing off, the bell rings most annoyingly. I bury my head in the pillow but these people are very resilient, they keep on at the bell until you go and talk to them. sometimes I am rude, sometimes I feel sorry for them (like in the excruciatingly cruel summer months), but yes, they are a part of our everyday existence. Apartment blocks have a sign reading ‘Salespeople not allowed”, some houses hang such posts too.

Hi,i dont really know if your talking about religous people.Sorry to butt in,but i had this problem and did something one day.I know its weird but the came again preaching to me and that after ive told them countless times, diffrernt groupr though.I let the outer demon out of me,haha.I started acting balistic and like i was possessed.Screaming and talking to myself and said they should not come back here again.I guess they thought i was crazy, alot and never came back.I put a sign on the door that said "To all the people who try to change our religion and preach to me here, dont bother as you will be greeted with the devil himself".I know its not nice but i wanted to have my say and for them to stop bothering me with their bibles in their hand and not letting me get a word in,by always interrupting and always having somethng to say.I guess it worked.I am not against people for their reglion, its just i have mine and if i want to go to church,i will go and do not try to get me to change my mind for another and dont come to my home preaching. Penautjar:):)
