I know last couple of days the were so much discussions about not to put referral links in posts but many people still don't wan't to listen to this. So yesterday my patience has ended. I will no more warn people about this, from now on I will report EVERY SINGLE POST with referral link in it and rate it "-" (because I found out we can actually do both when it comes to report). Please, my fellow mylotters (mylotians;P), do the same and let us fight this plague together. I say plague because it is no longer just "make extra money" interest issue:/ I see ref links in other discussion threads as well.

yes its not fun if mylot turns into a complete referral publishing place. its important that mylot remains a place where people can interact and money making should only be secondary. Quality of posts should be maintained only then we will be able get good users to mylot. I'll also start reporting posts which contain referral links and let that be a general rule here in mylot!

Exactly. Whe should talk here and not only looking for making cash. As for making money I always treated myLot as a place I can find opinions about sites that pay so I wouldn't be scammed not as much as a place I can make money with. I know some might think I'm to harsh on ref links posters but everyone has his limits and I riched mine.

That is exactly what I do to all the referral posts: rate "-" and report it. I must admit that I've posted a few referral links myself back in the day, when myLot was just getting started, but now I see how annoying it can be. There are people that only post here to get referrals, and that is not what myLot is meant to be!

hi pompon. I agree with you, that if somoene breaks mylot terms, it is right thing to do to report it. I find it not so easy. I don't feel good when I have to report someones post, so I have done this once or twice I think.
In my opinion, the worst thing is when a person posts his/her referral link when it has nothing to do with whole discussion. I doubt if such person even make an effort to read a whole subject of the topic.
Have a nice day.

I first did the referral link thing when I came here. I didn't read the instructions. I was actually directed here by a person on another site to post referral links. I do not post them anymore.
However, that being said I could care less if someone posts a referral link. As long as its not to an illegal site I don't mind. Really I don't see how it bothers me. I just ignore most of them now.
