I have to agree on that. Laughter can brighten up the atmosphere. The greatest advantage on laughter is that it is highly contagious. Hahaha!

I agree to an extent. It has been scientifically proven that laughter is beneficial to one's health. It releases endorphins into the body that make you feel good. Here is an interesting article on the correlation between laughing and pain relief.

dear mushroomlady, i like that name! how did you come up with it dear mushroomlady? even when we sit down to meditate we should be joyful too!!Here is a quote from the book 365 TAO DAILY MEDITATIONS by Deng Ming-Dao published by HarperSanFrancisco in 1992, under JOY..Do your devotions make you happy? is your life a joyous song? He writes, "...Being devoted to holiness in your life is a matter of joy and celebration. When you sit down to meditate, a smile should come to your lips and a feeling of joy should permeate your body". how beautiful is that, in fact his daily mediatation book sometimes makes me literally cry when i'm absorbed reading the beautiful passages in the meditations...one for every day of the year to reflect on. take care, mushroomlady...stanzi

The joy of the Lord is my strength. So no matter what is going on in my life or around me, I can still find a reason to smile. I am a jovial person. I like to see people laugh and be light hearted also.

Hi & Hello, mushroomLady.
I agree with your subject of discussion. As there are many scientific, medical and psychology explanation about good thing to have for one's laughter. Facial exercise, release tension and make ourself in jovial mood.
Because it is uneasy to create good and natural jokes. As it must be creative enough to 'tickle' others to enjoy the moment of joke story.
Some joke from me, about(insert photo);
Great Writer
There was once a young man who, in his youth, professed his desire to become a great writer.
When asked to define "great" he said, "I want to write stuff that the whole world will read, stuff that people will react to on a truly emotional level, stuff that will make them scream, cry, howl in pain and anger!"
He now works for Microsoft, writing error messages.
HAPPY DAPPY.

Absolutely! Laughter helps to boost the natural high we can feel. Without laughter, our world would stop turning. Just because we smile and laugh doesn't mean we have no cares, we just don't let them rule our lives!
