My due date

Is this your first? If it is, then it is not uncommon to go over your due date, particularly if you are having a girl. All mine were late and all are girls! lol. Something about the trend females have of being fashionably late? LOL. If you were here in Oz, they wouldn't induce you unless you were 10 or more days late. As dating by scan is only so accurate, the theory is that unless you are way over, have a medical problem or bubs is at risk, then they don't induce. Fine by me! Only one of mine had the eviction order carried out! lol. A week, in the developement of a fetus, is the difference between being born healthy and having a prem baby. Ok, so 37 weeks is now considered to be fullterm but I don't like the interference of medical personal on my body! lol. I prefer that nature do what it's meant to do! Good luck and congradulations on your little one. They are the most amazing thing in the world. I was induced with my second daughter and was in labor for 23 hours. Hope this does not happen to you!!

Congratulations. I know what it's like to be at the end of your pregnancy. Make sure you get some sleep while in the hospital.

I don't get it - it seems to me that so many in the US gets induced - I mean that can't be the best thing for mother or baby?!

i did not like the pregnant part i was sink all the time all the way though my pregnant i was so happy to have my baby out he would allways kick me that did not feel so good when he did that maybe he wanted to be out as bad as i wanted him to good luck there on your baby

I got induced for myu first baby, second one came naturally . I wish you all the good luck and blessings. Just remember more silently you can bear the pain easier and faster the delivery would be. When you are going through labor just try and remember the reward you are going to get once it all ends. love you.

Congrats on becoming a mommy!!! I was induced with our third child. It was kind of nice going in there and knowing that in a few hours I'd be holding my baby. I wish you all the luck in the world!

I still stand by my opinion that it's not a good idea but I wish you the best of luck and hope all goes well for you. The last few weeks of pregnancy are so hard to get through and the anticipation of finally seeing the baby is almost too much to bear at times.

Good luck to you on the birth of your baby! I was suppose to be induced with my last child, but I think just the thought of it scared me into contractions so I was never induced. Do alot of walking and maybe it will happen on its own. If you go on Nov 28, your baby will be born on my birthday:)

I'm very happy for you my friend. I pray for you to have a safe delivery. Just take good care of yourself. I'm a mother too and have a 11 months old baby i'm so happy to be a mother even if my little one is very naughty now. he like to climb everywhere:) It's a few weeks now before the arrival of you little one. be happy always and goodluck to you and to your husband. Congrats! I hope everything goes wonderfully for you. You might even go into labor before your day to be induced. I was scheduled to have my baby induced but he decided he wanted to come two days sooner. I was also so ready to be a mommy by the end of my pregnancy. I think every woman goes through that. I was especially tired of being pregnant because I had "morning sickness" up until the day I went into labor. I hope you are not having to go through that still. I wish you the best of luck.
